Each step in your webinar funnel only has ONE job.
Ok… some people with one job don’t do so well…
But your webinar funnel steps also have just one job.
What is that job? To get visitors to take action on the next logical step.
This may seem obvious, but all too often I see this misused and misunderstood.
1. Your ad or email has one job. Get them to go see the registration page.
2. Your registration page has one job. Get them to register for the webinar. Don’t try to sell your product or service here… Don’t tell them about your amazing plans for growth in the future… Just sell the registration.
3. Your thank you page has one job. Show the benefit of showing up.
4. Your notification emails have one job. Remind them of the benefits you showed them on the thank you page.
5. The webinar event has one job. Show them you can help them by actually helping them.
If you stray from this “one job” theory in your funnel structure it will cause confusion and confused people don’t take action.
Give your funnel steps “one job” and you will see greater success.
